Hi, my name is Steven McCarty and this is the year! This is our year for new
beginnings and new clubs! Only together can we succeed in all our goals and
celebrate our achievements. Starting a new club can be tricky. You need the
right people, a Kiwanis club, and lots of motivation. My job as New Club
Building chair is to be your guide, motivator, and most importantly: your friend! I just started my club last year, so I know all the ins and outs of starting your club. This year the focus is on communication. Once I found out about Key Club, I was hooked! I want to hook high schooler's all across the state of Michigan, and get them interested in Key Club too! Ten new clubs... say what?
Yes, that's right! This year we are going to introduce ten new clubs to the Mighty Michigan District of Key Club! I can;t do it without your help! You! Yes, you! Leave a comment, spread the word. Tell everybody about all that Key Club has to offer. Let's spread friendship and service one high school at a time. :)
How do i start one?
This year, we are going to make starting your club as quick and easy as ever! How can it be that easy? Just email me! I will send you a CD with everything, yes, EVERYTHING to start your new club. All your paperwork, a nice powerpoint, district directories, and much, much more! The CD will also help you to learn more about Key Club and what we stand for. So c'mon, give it a try! It isn't that hard!
